Bethnal Green is a dynamic inner city hub boasting excellent Overground and Underground links. A 6-minute train takes you into London’s Liverpool Street, but with all Bethnal Green has to offer, you’ll never have a reason to leave. Wander up to Paradise Row and grab lunch in the trendy bars and restaurants that now occupy the railway arches. Spend a sunny day relaxing with a book in nearby Weavers Field or Bethnal Green Gardens. Take a 15-minute stroll down to Brick Lane for one of the world’s most colourful bagels. For renters who are into keeping fit and healthy, Dressage Court is the perfect new home for you. There’s an on-site fitness room open 6am-10pm with personal trainers on hand and weekly discounted fitness classes. There’s also a range of local gyms and fitness studios in case you’re looking for a particular way to workout.
The brand new fitness room at Dressage Court opening in October 2018 and boasts brand new, state-of-the-art equipment. There are classes throughout the week and personal trainers are on hand and hireable through the day, so you’ll find it hard to let your fitness routine slip.

Looking for a really great place for proper indian curry? We've found it for you! Tayyabs food is super yummy, and you can bring your own drinks so it's bound to be a boozy night for some! Don't go expecting a posh 8-course tasting menu, because that's not what this is. It's proper, well-priced, great tasting, Punjabi-Pakistani food.
Duck and Waffle, Liverpool St
If you want to try a modern twist on the most traditional British dishes with a special view, Duck & Waffle is what you're looking for. Their dishes are designed for sampling and sharing and are complemented by an fantastic cocktail experience served in a vibrant atmosphere on the 40th floor.
Sushi Samba, Liverpool St
By far the best sushi in London, combined with some of the best views too... this place is a must-visit, even if you just go for one drink! It's pretty pricey, but is a firm favourite to impress a date, and comes highly recommended from the team here at Movebubble!

Ace Hotel, Shoreditch
The Ace Hotel is definitely one of a kind. There's a massive table to work or study, a cosy atmosphere and plenty of velvet armchairs to take a well-earned break. As a plus, their aperitif is so good and there's a 60s inspired restaurant just next door! Just walk down the stairs and try the incredible Hoi Polloi burger!
Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch
Did you say rooftop? This is one of our favourites for a Movebubble social evening. This East London gem has a colourful roof terrace, which often hosts parties and DJ sets. Plus, you can take part in one of their ukulele nights! Could be a great venue for a date? It's certainly a great place to party, as we found out when we hosted our 2016 Movebubble Summer Party there!
This tiny sushi place in Rivington street is one of our favourites. If you're lucky enough to find a table, try their beautiful matcha cocktails. Also, if you've got a sweet-tooth, don't miss their yuzu crème brulée! You'll want to book another table for the week after, before leaving the restaurant!
Get Social at Dressage Court
Dressage Court offers free shared spaces for the residents, including a beautiful lounge area to chill out, a games room, and some workstations. Last but not least, their rooftop garden offers an amazing view of Canary Wharf and the City! The residents at Dressage Court can connect with their neighbours using the dedicated Facebook Group.
Events at Dressage Court
At Dressage Court you’ll often get the chance to meet new friends and get social! With events hosted every month or so – such as pizza and prosecco evenings, cheese and wine tastings and even pop-up acoustic concerts with up-and-coming artists – you’ll never be short of an event to add to your calendar.

Bethnal Green is home to some of the coolest music venues for Londoners, such as The Old Blue Last, considered the cradle of British music's future. If you're a fan of Jazz music, make sure to check out the Vortex, their upstairs club hosts some of the most amazing artists from the jazz scene!

Dressage Court is located in a very vibrant area, surrounded by street markets, cafes and fantastic restaurants to try! Bethnal Green is one of the young professionals' favourite spots for a Friday night out, and there are plenty of activities to be discovered!
Shoreditch is where anyone in their 20s should be on a Saturday. With its cool pubs and restaurants open till late, you can have fun non-stop from morning to night! It's also home to many lovely independent boutiques, cafes and book shops. Check it out during the weekend to make the most of it!
Brick Lane Market
A foodie's heaven, Brick Lane market offers a variety of food stalls for all tastes. While walking on Brick Lane's vibrant streets, don't forget to check out all of the vintage shops and cool street art around. From there, you could easily walk to Spitalfields market for... more shopping and delights!
Columbia Road Flower Market
Beautiful fresh flowers have the power to add personality and colour to your rented apartment: they're a must for renters! Good news! Dressage Court is less than 15 minutes walk from Columbia Road, where the most hipster flower market takes place every Sunday morning. Check it our next weekend!
Boxpark is entirely constructed out of refitted shipping containers, and it provides a unique experience! It combines the concepts of modern street food and placing local and global brands side by side to create a unique shopping and dining destination - it's kind of a shopping mall... but cooler!
There's a wide variety of choice when it comes to food markets in this area, but Spitalfields is one of our favourites as it's suitable for the rainy days too! Don't miss the great espresso from the Illy stand. Highly recommended by the team here at Movebubble!
Perfect for a sunny day, Victoria park is one of the biggest green areas in north-east London. It's full of interesting attractions, including lakes with water activities and markets for foodies! Hire a pedalo and float on the water, or if you're feeling lazy, try The Patate for the best bourguignon burger in town!
Mile End Park
Mile End Park contains many different attractions, including an Art Pavilion and a Climbing Wall - only for the most adventurous! There's also an outdoor gym, located at the northern end of the park, so you can work out whilst enjoying the leafy surroundings!
Hackney City Farm
Hidden from the noise of the city, this little farm in Hackney is somewhere to visit to learn how to live a happier and healthier life while living in London! Check out their courses and workshops, for kids and adults of all ages. We'd suggest visiting the farm on a Sunday, after your flower shopping in Columbia Road!
This cinema has become one of the most glamorous spaces to watch a movie and enjoy a lovely cup of tea in one of their cosy cafes! The Genesis Cinema is also home to a gallery space, where local artists' works is showcased! Highly recommended as somewhere to relax on a rainy afternoon.
