For those with a car, the short trip from Fallowfield to the city centre is around 3 to 3.5 miles, meaning a short commute of just 10 to 15 minutes. The nearest train station to Fallowfield is Manchester Piccadilly Station, although it did have its own station until the 1950s. However, the old train tracks have been repurposed and now form the Fallowfield Loop – a cycling route that runs from Debdale Park to St Werburgh’s Road Metrolink station.
